Hotel El Casino was a surprising find. This Hotel is in Casares a fishing village about 1 .5 hours from Managua, about 2 hours to San Juan Del Sur. My husband and I started coming to Hotel El Casino back in 2012 and have been coming back to Hotel El Casino 2 or 3 times a year since. We love Casares and the surrounding areas. The beaches are beautiful. This little town is an authentic fish village , we could not believe the amount of fish. if you want glitz and glamour you will not find it but If you like to spend time in small communities and see the life of the people living there this is the place to visit. we have been all over Nicaragua to fancy resorts but we always come back to Hotel El Casino for the realness of this place. The owner to great!! very accommodating. The people that work there is very nice. The food is great. This place is worth the stay. Oh and i forgot to mention that you can do tours of the Volcanos if you like, hikes up the volcano, rent bikes, there is a great masseur close by so massage can be arranged. Wonderful place for some piece and quite!!

It is a nice place where you could enjoy a beautifull view at the ocean at the meantime you take a breakfast or lunch, anyway you will stay in the best hotel in casares with great food selection and beers too.

Noise. completely understand because all the fishermen's and the restaurants from others city's come here to buy fish and the beach is dirty and sticking fish 😣🐟🐟

Over price food and also the way they cook the food was bad the lobster was cooked in the same oil the fish was cooked and the fish was over cooked just like the lobster. Don't go to this place clearly the owner doesn't give a damn about his customers.

to start, the location is a dump, literally there is trash EVERYWHERE and whats not covered in trash is covered in animal feces such as cow poop, dog poop, pig poop, bird poop, fish poop, goat poop, sheep poop and the smell. it smells like flowers..covered in poop. The hotel was nice, a very stark contrast to where it is located. But when i asked the lady what the prices were she rolled her eyes at me as if I couldn't afford 45$ a night at such a "high class hotel" located in the middle of poop such as the one that she works in. She was pretty stuck up. And the food was not that great at all. what cost $7 a plate there i could get for $4 in Jinotepe. or even san juan del sur. I probably would not even have wrote this review if it hadn't been for that one lady being such a snob. I would have forgotten all of the smelly poop and over priced food because heyits a poor town, they need to make money, but your employee's need to improve on their customer service.
