Great hostel, great staff, clean pool and nice rooms for a good price. If you want to have fun, relax and feel at home, go here. I went just one time and returned 5 times. Says enough

These guys took amazing care of my friend and I. We stayed for four nights and ate there almost every meal. They helped arrange transportation for us and our friends in Managua as well. Try out at least Quattro coco locos for good measure.

Great stay in Hostal El Belga Loco. Managing staff are great and very helpful. Breakfast are good and not expensive. The beach is great and we felt safe. The pool is always clean and refreshing. The rooms are clean and each of them have a safe.

We had a great time at El Belga loco. The hotel is astonishing and beautiful. The decoration of the rooms and the common areas is beautiful and pleasing. Everything looks neat and clean. There is a swimming pool for the guests to use which is a plus and it was in excellent conditions. There is no usable kitchen for the guests but they offer cooking services at a very affordable price and of great taste. The hotel is in front of the beach. Peñitas has one of the most beautiful sunsets we've ever seen and the location of this hotel gives a really easy access to the beach to see them. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend others to stay there.

We stayed at 2 other places in Las Peñitas and El Bogo Loco was by far the best. Probably the best place we stayed in all of Nicaragua. Silvana and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. Great for chilling out, either in a hammock, by the pool, or steps away on the beautiful beach. The room and bathroom were clean and nicely furnished and decorated. Having side tables on both sides of the room was great. Though they don't have an actual restaurant, they have plenty of great snack items that can be combined into pretty hearty meals. Make sure to try to nachos! They have bikes to borrow and plenty of activities to plan if that's what you want to do.
I cannot recommend Belga Loco enough. If you are planning a stay in Las Peñitas, stay here and only here.response / report this review -

An excellent place to stay in las penitas. You also have a pool with a view to the sea. The rooms are clean and the staff is super friendly. Higly recommended.

Very nice and clean hotel. Excellent location located on the beach with great surf break. Staff are super friendly and the food is great too. Great place to unwind and relax. Also has a pool which is a bonus.
