A very nice place to meet the outdoors and disconnect from normal urban life. Fresh air green landscapes and near Managua. 13 KM from Managua's center good road sedan cars can pass all the way to the reserve, but need a 4x4 to go up the mountain or you can simply hike your way. Access to small markets on the way to buy goods for a nice outdoor picnic. Abundant animal life like birds, deer, rabbits, garrobos, exotic lizards and Nicaragua wildlife.
