My family and I used Armadillo for three separate transfers throughout Nicaragua, and they did an amazing job. All the drivers were on-time, friendly, and extremely helpful. There was a language barrier with the drivers, but it wasn't anything that you couldn't work through. Working with Peter to arrange the transports was great as well, he explained the process thoroughly and we told him the dates and times we want to be picked up or arrive by and he would set everything up. We would get emails the day before our transfer to confirm times and let us know our driver's name . I highly recommend, and wouldn't hesitate to use Armadillo again for our next trip to Nicaragua.

Peter and the Armadillo staff were excellent! He arranged our shuttle from the airport to our room, from our room to the car rental office and even took car of getting us back to the airport to depart the country. He was well spoken (spoke english), informative about driving conditions, areas of imerest and topics of current events. Peter was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend him when traveling to Nicaragua for all of yor vehicle needs. I look.forward to doing business with him again in the future.

From the beginning of planning our trip/transport within Nicaragua, Peter was extremely helpful and quick to respond. We had a driver from airport to Granada --- Granada to the coast ---- then Peter brought us from the coast to the airport. We appreciated his professionalism, advice, and clean transport. Just finished a week long hire of the suzuki jimny jeep. Starts first time every time and took all the challenges it was given. It's a little squeaky on the bumpy roads but for a very reasonably priced rental we were happy.
Peter the owner was only a phone call away and there was a prompt return of the deposit upon return of the vehicle.
Will definitely use them again

Great Experience and will definitely use them again when in Nicaragua. Peter was always quick to get back to me whenever I had a question about the transfers. We used a 15 passenger Hiace micro bus when arriving in Nicaragua and a 30 passenger Toyota Coaster for departure. The staff was exactly where they said they would be when they said they would be there (if you travel in Latin America at all, you know this is not the norm). The staff helped all of us load and unload out bags (golfers with golf clubs and large suitcases) in a very timely fashion. Again, I cannot say enough nice things about this company and anyone who is looking for a transfer in Nicaragua needs to use Armadillo.

Peter was very professional and accommodating throughout the entire car rental, use, and return process. We took the Suzuki Jimny with a roof rack and had enough space for three people plus bags on the inside and six boards in bags strapped to the rack. The car had zero issues and was the perfect 4x4 for the price. I would highly recommend Peter's service if you're ok with a no-frills vehicle that performs in spite of all of the rivers, mud ditches and gnarly roads the wet season has to offer

My wife and I found peter on the internet and hired Armadillo to meet us at the Managua airport and take us to Granada and to bring us back 2 days later. We highly recommend using Armadillo. They were always on time and very helpful. We also appreciated his recommendations and suggestions on things to do. BTW - the best way to connect with peter while in Nicaragua is via Whatsapp using the Armadillo telephone number; he is very prompt and responsive. We give Armadillo a 5-star thumbs up!!!!

Peter was not only professional but very informative and entertaining. Our roundtrip was done during late night hours each way and Peter may not be a fast driver but is an exceptionally SAFE driver. He was a wealth of information not only re Nicaragua but Costa Rica as well. He was easily able to talk knowledgeably about a variety of topics. Prompt, polite and safe and honest.

Great service and communication. Peter was full of answers to our many questions and his response time was amazing. We had a great driver who would smile and laugh as we tried our Spanish on him. He was most accommodating every time we passed some helado and made him turn around. The van was new, clean and air conditioned.

The way to go when renting a vehicle while visiting Nicaragua. Peter was a super star from the moment we started corresponding 2 weeks prior to renting the vehicle to the moment we handed the vehicle back, answering all my question and putting my mind at ease, their rates are really good and fair.

When we arrived at the airport in early hours of the morning he was there to greet us and had the SUV ready, topped off and clean. We a quick inspection over the vehicle, showed me the in's and out's and headed out easy as 1.23

Peter was very accommodating, we arranged with him to drop the car with him in Granada so we could see the sights and sounds of the small little city as we had a couple of hours kill before our flight home from Managua which left early hours of the morning, once we were ready to be picked up to got to the airport I sent a message to Peter and he zipped on over with the SUV with all our stuff inside and dropped us off at the airport.

At the airport Peter gave our deposit back as there was no damage to the vehicle and we parted ways.

Thanks for supplying us with the wheels we needed for our adventure.

We will be planning our next trip soon and hoping you'll be able to supply us with one of your vehicles.

I had my wedding in Nicaragua on July 9th, 2016. There were 21 people from the USA arriving at different times. So it was pretty chaotic. We all needed to get to the resort which was not close to the airport. I found Armadillo drivers on google, and I was very apprehensive at first to book from another country. Everything worked out perfectly. They were very reliable ie always answered emails and phone calls quickly. I used them several times through out my trip for myself and my friends and family.

I called to rent a mini - van with a driver and the person on the phone gave me all the information I needed so I order the service. The van and the driver were supposed to pick us up from Granada to transfer us to San Jorge in the morning. Well, they never showed up. I called the office number many times and no one answered. I do not recommend this company. They have the worst customer service ever.
