Great time indeed in the university of Lagos,very Serene environment.it is a town on its own. everything is there primary,secondary schools,church,moscue,resturants,shopping center,.the Senate building stands out towering up 150 meters above ground.it has a unique architectural design.t hey offer many courses you can remember even in security.t here is peace.everywhere is secured with 24/7 CCTV surveillance.w e have many professors here and they lecture very very well

The top university in Lagos by the federal government. A higher institution of a greater excellence attached with lots of accolades. I can't count how many times I've been here even before I tried to apply for my dli program! Cool roads and buildings. Popular and well built hostels. Petrol stations and banks inside plus so many institutional structures.

University of Lagos is one of the top universities in Nigeria. The main campus is situated at Akoka overlooking the Lagos Lagoon and Island. It has several courses on offer and are accredited. They offer undergraduate, graduate and post graduation courses. Students hostel are available for both male and female including post graduate students. There's a transport service within the school, the park is located a few metres away from the main gate opposite the post graduate office. You can find restaurants, banks, xerox centres and open spaces within the institution. The Libraries are opened to students. There large lecture halls, events hall and classrooms. Unilag has a radio station for its communication students. There are Petrol filling stations within the school too. One of the open spaces has a very good view of the Lagoon and Atlantic ocean. Registration process is stress free as you virtually do everything using the university's web portal. Results are also posted on the portals after Senate confirmation. Wheelchair accessibility needs to be visited within the school. There are restrooms at various blocks although most are unkempt.

Arguably one of the best universities in Nigeria. Take that "in Nigeria" very seriously. When you put on the same pedestal with other universities from other climes, the university will not stand the test. From academic structure to service delivery, UNILAG has some issues that are not supposed to existent.
However, that said, because of its strategic location in the heart of Lagos, the school enjoys a robust social life. Students of the University actually tout it that, if you're looking for a well round school life (academics, social, religious), UNILAG is the place. I agree to a considerable extent.

The heart and soul of my Alma mater. Terrible service at every turn from disgruntled employees. Ancient and backward technology and filing systems.

With the above said, it is hard to understand why it receives a complete set of stars. It is one of the most iconic buildings in Lagos as fast as I am concerned. Classic architecture and the seating outside the building is one of the coolest places to just sit and relax

The University Of Lagos is a really cool place to be. I visited both Julius Berger and the lagoon front section in the University's main campus at Akoka, Yaba. While i was at the lagoon front, i enjoyed so many unique views like the third mainland bridge, the lagos island skyscrappers. Both landmarks can be seen just in front of the lagoon front and i must confess that the outing was an experience I'll remember for a very long time.

University of Lagos is one of the best Nigerian Universities. It has always been my first choice University. Had my postgraduate qualification form this Institution. The training is very robust and rigorous. In truth obtaining a degree from Unilag is not an easy task. It is stress, stress all through. However, there is room for improvement in all the spheres of learning and in no distance time it will be one of the foremost universities in Africa.
