The dome is a social hub in the Central Business District in Abuja. The Dome boasts of a gym, spa, salon, restaurant, conference room, cafe, swimming pool, lounge, bowling alley and lodging !!! Phew!
It is in a very quiet area. The staff are friendly and courteous. I hear it’s been recently renovated with the pool area totally revamped.
There is also an outdoor grill which really comes alive in the evenings. The bowling alley is the attraction for most visitors as it is the only bowling alley I am aware of in Abuja.
The hotel is called the Francis hotel. It has 18 rooms and quite well done.
The dome is great for parties, showers, meetings and pure relaxation. There is something for everyone adults and kids alike.
Cash and card transactions are acceptable it’s adequate parking.

I went there when I heard about the bowling alley. Did not know that there was a bowling alley in Nigeria, not to talk of Abuja which is bested on all recreational fronts by Lagos. When we got their (me and my friends), we were surprised that it was a complete package; they also have a nightclub, a really cool garden which sports a grill bar, a VIP lounge (named after Wesley Snipes who commissioned the complex), an exclusive cigar room, a classy restaurant. Of lesser note are their Banquet hall and Conference Room (we were actually taken on a tour by one of their staff).
All in all, it was a totally sweet experience at the bowling alley which asides from bowling has pool tables, air hockeys and Nintendo Wiis. I'll definitely go back there when time permits me.
