I am editing my previous positive review of The Charcoal Grill. It makes absolutely no sense to be seated for 20 minutes without having anyone come over to take your order. After about 10 minutes we informed a staff we were waiting to have our orders taken. They were a no show. After 20 minutes we left with no one noticing our presence or even us leaving. If it takes more than 20 minutes to get noticed, then how long would it take to get served eventually? And to be fair to the staff I think Charcoal needs to employ more hands. The staff were all over the place attending to dinners and this wasn't a packed full house. I imagine what the case would be with a packed full place and a slow service.

ALL the staff were so courteous and their meals were really sumptuous. It was my first time there and I must say i was very impressed. They even had vals gifts for my kids. It was a nice experience really and not ridiculously pricey

I love a good setting. The food was pretty affordable and quite colorful. I'm a fan of colorful food. Customer Service is want brings me back to a place and Charcoal Grill gave me that.
I felt bad that the waiter disappeared before I could leave a tip.
Go with a gisting partner. It makes it even sweeter.

Lovely ambience. Great Food. Gosh.... great food. Freshly made, the pancakes were fluffy, the omelette was divine! Fabulous food. Whether you’re dining alone or in a group, you will enjoy time spent here. My new favourite good food place in Abuja....the food is that good.

Had Christmas eve lunch here, and I was totally impressed. Cheated on my meal plan... All the meals ordered were on point; the shakes too were satisfying! The waiters are quite professional. Freindly atmosphere 😊

This place is gorgeous! And it's actually not too bad in terms of pricing; my table of six spent just above ₦25k on lunch. The charcoal special rice is great!! I didn't like the jerk chicken, it needs work. The skin was kinda slimy and the seasoning didn't go through the chicken at all. Their mocktails are lovely and service is great!

I absolutely love the charcoal grill. I have been there 3 times in 2 weeks since I came to Abuja. My first visit was with friends and after ordering different platters, spent 3 hrs in the very nice ambience and when the bill came, I was pleasantly surprised, it wasn't too pricy. Try the grilled tilapia, it's excellent. I had sauteed lamb the next time I went and it tasted heavenly....YES! I am a foodie

I went here for a casual Sunday Brunch with friends. We ordered both the American and the English breakfasts and I have to say, I recommend the full English if you really want to get your money's worth! Also a word of caution: the bacon and sausages were actually pork and not chicken as we'd expected. I had to take a star off of my rating for that to be honest, as I believe they should have at least warned customers about the type of meat offered. Nonetheless, the service was good despite there being only 2 waiters on duty and the waiting time for food was not super long. I imagine that as the day got busier the wait time might have increased but overall this was a lovely dining experience. I will be sure to return soon!

Decent burger, good sweet potato fries, and everyone else enjoyed their meal--except for the flies and our inattentive server. It's also quite a climb without an elevator, if you can't really do stairs.

Great food at reasonable prices. You can opt to sit in three different sections of the restautant including an outdoor patio. The staff are pleasant making me come here year after year.
