Its a well preserved historical monument of the slave trade activities that saw millions of slaves been shipped out of Africa.

I recently visited this museum and need to commend those who have put the displays together and those who impart their knowledge to those who visit. I was pleasantly surprised at the organisation surrounding the Museum and the boat trip across the lagoon taking us across the island to the Atlantic. Steps that were taken by the slaves on route to the ships from which they were sold. A wonderful day with lovely people.
