Salvation Hospital & Maternity was opened about two decades ago, at St. John's Laboratory building, located along MCC/Uratta-Umuoba Road (by Relief Junction). Most patients and passers-by thought both health facilities (St. John's Lab and Salvation Hospital) were owned by one person/group, until late 2015 when the hospital was moved to its present location up, though still along the same road. It is now located Besides Olive Hotels & Suites, and directly opposite Ekoe Fuel Station.
For a private hospital, in a developing country, Salvation Hospital & Maternity is a four star facility. The double-building, two-storey health center has an in-house laboratory services, a pharmacy, an accident & emergency unit, maternity ward, five other wards, good parking space for cars and a small mart. Facilities in the fairly-equipped hospital is, not surprisingly, decent and new and the nurses are courteous and caring. The doctors here, easily give explanation to your questions and concerns, unlike in most other hospitals around who still practice the old-style where 'the patient is not expected to know or even read the doctor's handwriting'.response / report this review -
