Saint Luke Anglican Church was my baby church. This Church shaped me and gave me the knowledge to face the world we live in. I attended this church from 1981 till 1998 before I moved out of the vicinity. My favourite reverend at that time was Rev. Okpara, I guess he is from Umuchu in Aguata. He was not only reverend in the Church but also a practical Christian. I would want to one day worship with my childhood church again. I was a member of the Boys Brigade under the leader of captain Onwura and our able trumpeter Ikechukwu. I was also a member of the Gospel-Band Group. I was the drummer and Emeka Enemmuo was our guitarist, we enjoyed every bit of that childhood development that made us the men we are today.
I do not know if the bigger church has been finished by now. I miss my church.
