This is one of the best fast food and restaurants in Enugu in my opinion. There services are wonderful and their meal is good everytime. I'm yet to have a bad experience from this place.

I like that Roots is a family restaurant. The decor is nice and the menu has a nice variety so it's easy to find something to eat. I visited on Easter Sunday so a lot of families with little kids came in which made it a bit noisy. They have private dining areas upstairs if you want more privacy or don't care for noise. The food was ok, everything tasted fine but I would have liked more seasoning. I didn't like the toast that came with my meal though. All round it's a good spot to dine alone or with a family/group.

So, there aren't many places I like to go to in Enugu but this one I actually really, really liked. The ambience was great and the food was really good and the staff were amazing. Permit me to say that in a city in fact, in a country where customer service means nothing to business owners, these staff are everything. I hope they keep it like this. Will definitely be returning the next time I am in the city 😊

This place has great food. The ambience is alright, has an African vibe to it but there were flies on both occasions that I visited. They claimed to not have menus but some Chinese men showed up and suddenly the menus appeared. Lol.
The place is a bit confused, they're not sure if they are a restaurant or a fast food.
Anyway, the food is really really good so all flaws have been overlooked and I'll definitely keep visiting.

Friendly waiters. Delicious and affordable food. Clean and well-equipped restroom, fanciful interior decoration which inspires a feel of class.

Downsides I've noticed are as follows:
1. Sometimes the POS does not work so hold your cash for contingency

2. There is no staircase for walk-in customers coming from the road and both entrances are quite steep

One of the finest buildings I've seen in Enugu: well lit, well constructed, comfortable climate inside, and a good parking lot. The waiter didn't speak English very well, and wasn't able to tell us what was or wasn't available, so we had to order and see if he would come back to tell us it wasn't available (this happened twice). Luckily I seemed to have ordered one of the few dishes available, the Sweet and Sour Pork. It arrived in a timely manner, all three pieces of it swimming in a nutty sauce with chunks of various vegetables. The pork pieces were tiny and relatively tasteless. What really didn't help was another member of the waitstaff, instead of apologizing and trying to fix the dissatisfaction with the lack of available dishes, made all kinds of excuses for why three dishes on the menu were not available.

If you're not sure what to get, stick to the fries/chips, they're a safe choice.
