Only a queside to board a small crew vessel. There are armed guards, but no access with a vehicle to collect your luggage. You have to carry your laggage for over a 100m to nearest gate. Intresting fishing village bordering.

QIT is an important oil & gas terminal, which collect the production of many marine platforms managed by EXXON MOBIL OZO Gas Compression Platform is the most important Platfotm for gas collection and UBIT, UNAM, MEFIN, INIM, ENANG, ISOBO, IYAK, UTUE, ADUA, EKU, are some of for oil extraction & gas separation Platforms. Ocean condition are good all time of the year, the depth of the Atlantic Ocean in that area is between 25-50 m which permit construction of platforms directly supported on underwater land. The terminal is nice located near a beautiful beach. Generally, local people are friendly, but there are possible also some incidents. For this reason the security control is important inside and outside area and Exxon Mobil developed in the past some projects to increase it.

Neat office complex bordering the most beautiful beach in the Niger delta which is dotted with bars & restaurants .Exceptional sand lined playground for picnics.
If you like near pristine beaches with lots of sand & clear water waves to surf..this is the place for you!

Mobil Producing is the operator of the joint venture. The Quarterly Oboe Terminal is the main business stay of the Akwa Ibom State economy and the Nigerian economy.
