Protea select is beautiful with its revolving doors and brightly lit reception area. Clean beddings and towels in pretty rooms. Complimentary tea and coffee available in the rooms.

With it's great franchise reputation, it is a very good hotel. Good management, good staff.

Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking available.

Buffet and barbecue available at the restaurant.

Fire exits are clearly marked. Smoke detectors, sprinklers, cameras and other security details is take care of.

This is a place to relax and unwind. The location couldn't have been better ,as well, because of the ease of access to a famous and well patronized shopping mall in the whole of Lagos, and its central business district .
The staff is courteous, right from the management, down the line, including the security personnel, right from the gates. And they all work so hard, to make every guest comfortable, as much as they could. And I noticed they got some big smiles too!
I'll definitely be back here, for my next vacation in the country.

The location of this hotel is excellent for visitor intending to do more on the Lagos Mainland - visit Ikeja Shopping Mall to buy things and watch movies at the cinema.

However, the common lounge facility is inadequate. There is no privacy for discussion when you have visitors. I understand there is constrain with space but efficient design could mitigate this.

Also the bathroom hot water supply is not efficient . For whateverr reason the central water heater is shut down at midnight.

Great Hotel right in the heart of Durban. The food is so good, it's also close to the Gateway Mall, the largest shopping Mall in Durban. Which has great restaurants, shops and almost anything else you can think of. On your next visit to Durban, you should definitely stay by the mall.

This hotel is fantastic, classy and pleasant. It is one of the best hotels here for men and women of distinction. My stay here gave me a feel of home away from home. The staff are well trained. The meals are fantastic. Everything works! It compares favourably with world's bests !

Great place and pleasant staff.

This would be my second time staying at this hotel, and they have been pleasant experiences.

The rooms are nicely laid out with great firm beds and decent decor. The cleaning staff do an excellent job of ensuring that the rooms are cleaned properly every morning.

The front office, restaurant and bar staff were all great.

I tried their breakfast and I like the variety on display - the oatmeal I had was very good. I also particularly liked the fresh foods available - this is excellent especially from health perspective.

Excellent service, food and facilities. Located in the heart of the state capital so guests can easily access every part of Lagos especially the fun places. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished to give that feeling of being home away from home.
