  I grew up here. Attended St Richards Pry Sch. Growing up in the 70s here with combination of regular Police and Anti-riot Police. Showing of films in the football field, police parade and the like make Eleyele a sweet place.

  The place is an epitome of a police headquarters. A police village of its own. Very nice and beautiful from the exterior but the interior has a a lot of decapitated buildings. A sign of bad Nigerian maintainace culture.

  It's an expansive police compound, serving as headquarters for police operations in Oyo state. The office of the CP is here.
  
  There are residential quarters here too, no comment about their status. Officers mess, and associated relaxation place also exist here.
