This is a very great market, not only in Nigeria but in West Africa at large.
Not only that items are available here, they are equally affordable and pocket friendly.
However, safety provisions should be made in this market and traders be oriented with safety precaution measures.
I had a great experience here.

A place to buy anything you wantalthough you should be careful with your belongings to avoid being snatched out of your hands.

The market is actually very big and at that, you should be cautious about getting confused with the roads

Just like the rose has beautiful flowers but very rough spiky stems, so does this market. Contains virtually all your needs at the highest quality. But you have to get a guide lest you end up with the inferior version of what you need.

Extremely stressful environment. But you can get all you need, if you can endure. Be mentally prepared for anything.
Don't wear expensive jewellery or carry phones. It will be snatched. Be careful

Onitsha Main Market is a shoppers paradise. Yes, it is as crowded and rowdy as it can get BUT the selection of goods from all over the world is simply amazing & the traders are eager to sell. I was at the fabrics section looking at lace fabrics, Ankara, georges, silks, etcwhat a feast for the eyes.

This is a great place to shop at the lowest cost and with lots of variety but pls go with someone who knows the market. Not advisable to go there for the first time alone. Also, pls know what you wish to buy exactly else you would come back with a counterfeit.

It's a market you can buy a whole lot of things, but it's always busy with lots of people and not properly arranged. Great market for cheaper and good quality stuff though.
