Passing through Okeaje on market days has been a tug of war as farmers littered their farm produce everywhere available along the road. The situation had seen changed for better as we now have free flow of traffic thanks to investor who had constructed farmer market safe from the road. However the road from Talbot leading towards the Stadium is utterly hopeless dirty rough and unhealthy for buying and selling of food items. The sanitation of the market is very poor. Yet sanitary inspectors go about looking for what?

Biggest open market in Ijebu area and a central hub for most of the trading activities within Ijebu township. However the roads are awful so don't go out with your best shoes, rubber slippers with grip so you can navigate through the mud in the rainy season. Usually okay in the dry season. Abundant fresh produce and on special market days, foodstuff is super cheap.
