I did my one year postgraduate internship here and it was an amazing experience. I got real experience with orthopaedic radiography, trauma and theatre procedures as well as ward radiography.
The hospital has highly specialised orthopaedic surgeons and a well trained support team. There's adequate parking, a lodge, a gym and a library. Asides from being a Specialist Hospital, it also a medical training center with a Residency program for doctor's, orthopaedic nursing training and a BSc awarding orthotics schoolresponse / report this review -

This an old orthopaedic hospital in Nigeria with professional consultants and doctors. But still old facilities in this modern century.

The only government hospital of this kind and still functioning at its best with competent doctors at work. I've seen many go here and get operated and alas they're doing well. The only problem however that can bring unsuitable consequences might result from issue of funds to support the patients!

Fully equipped hospital, my life was saved by their qualified doctor when I had accident two year ago. The hospital is standard for bone joining.

Their services are not satisfactory, you have to chase down the nurses and doctors just to attend to a patient. The buildings and structures don't make a great institution, it's the people contained therein. I'm highly appalled and disappointed at the service in a federal hospital for that matter. How can health care professionals take human life with so much levity..!!!
