Every state has a central mosque where top officials in government and other places believe to be a secure place where they pray especially on the congregational Friday prayers. It's recognised all over and in Abuja here is the central. Cars plying the route normally are restricted here on Fridays as it's always overcrowded.

Great Masjid. Apart from saying your five prayers, a market of clothings, musk and perfumes, rugs and nice Maiduguri tea exist at the back of the Masjid.

Gigantic Mosque in the city of Abuja. Large prayer ground with various units. Thousands of people worship here regularly and crowded on Fridays. Most top government officials worship here lead by top clerics. Call for prayers are done in line with Islamic rights. Water is always available ahead of prayers. There are restrooms here for attendants. Parking lot for cars, wheelchairs and other automated vehicles are available.

It is very very beautiful building. Breathtaking. Very large and very very well maintained and preserved for an historical building. Lots of outdoor space. The gold plated tops were amazing to see and I couldn't leave in a hurry.

It's great Masha Allah. Enough praying room, parking space, proper restrooms, all well kept. & Some shops within the compound to get some quality products before you step out.

It announce itself immediately you're approaching CBD which make it very easy to locate.

A very great structure, the design it self humbles the inhabitants by generating feelings through function, size and purpose. The Architectural style maintains a unique mix and balance between modern/new era and Islamic Architecture. Upon gracing this holy structure, you'll be prompted to question your self on the one true purpose that brings everyone together to this 'masjid'. That is the existence of a one true God (ALLAH). Ma sha Allah.
