Well, the NYSC Orientation Camp is one of the prides of Ikare Akoko. It's been a great privilege seeing non-indigenes converging at the Camp to serving their fatherland. Being there throughout the service gives you the best experience you can ever had depending on how you view it. It's awesome!

This is A nice place for the youth coppers, i will never forget my experience here, Sleeping By 10PM waking up by 4am. The"double up"by the soldiers. The drilling by the Man O War. The really morning parade and the never ending lectures. Also I can never forget my experience at the SAED where i thought my fellow corp members how to produce paint.

A good place to train. The weather is very nice houses are not costly and the standard of living is okay. There are mostly no noise around the area except for the ones from the camp itself.

It's spacious, with plenty of cool areas to stay to meditate - if you're a fan of that. It has its own water system that is powered by solar panels but power supply is very poor here, like the rest of the town. Neighbors are friendly and welcoming. But if you're not a big fan of solitude, staying in the orientation camp while Corp members orientation isn't ongoing, is a no no.

Cramped rooms, pit toilets, unpaved grounds and harsh conditions when camp officials force you to stay under the hot sun without water just to wait for another official. I survived but i wouldn't wish the place on my enemy.

This NYSC orientation camp is not as large as some other orientation camps within the country but is just as peaceful and fun place to be. However, the place gets very cold during cool seasons cause it's situated at a high altitude on the hills. Do well to go with lots of sweaters so you don't catch a cold!

Not in the best condition to house human beings. The living conditions experienced here is very terrible. Ranging from the kitchen to having a sensible toilet is whack. Wood/charcoal is the primary fuel for cooking. The hostels do not have electrical fittings, the stress of charging phones can be tiring. Just too messed up

Terrible place. Toilet and bathroom conditions should be improved. Rain falls regularly. Weather is cold as mountains surround the camp. Still fun if you have money to spend.
