Honestly I wasn't impressed with the look of things. The stadium is falling into ruins; looking like the Colosseum. I wonder what people's taxes are used for here in Ibadan.

Lekan Salami Stadium, located at Adamasingba, between Mokola Roundabout and Dugbe in Ibadan Nigeria, is definitely one of the ancient structures located in the ancient city. This stadium, flanked by sport and variety shops, is the home ground of Shooting Stars Football Club, the State Football club.

Normal football pitch where local leagues are being played. There are however shops around the stadium where you can buy cool stuffs.

Poorly managed sport facilities. This venue use to be one of the best in the country but not anymore because the facility is very poorly managed now and into dilapidation states. This sport facility as produced great athletes including recently the world record older for power lifting and the highly world ranked Table tennis player Aruna Quadril, the popular Shooting stars football club presently use the main bowl as there home ground.

The stadium is OK, although there are lots of resources there that are neglected like the swimming pool. They also have a traditional food restaurant there.
