  This yam market is a market where all types or species of yam are sold. Permit me to say that it is an international market. This is because it host buyers from different part of West Africa. And of recent, it has been chosen to be one of the collection centre of yams for exportation. Among all the yam market in Nigeria, it has the history of producing biggest tubers of yam.
