Useless place ever, poor communication and some of the doctors aren’t God fearing . to see a doctor you gat pay minimum of 10,000 Nigeria money and no pill or medicine will be givin to you no matter the situation
Just ok like any government hospital
HMMMMMMMMM, May God Safe us in Nigeria because we all are one sickness or accident away from death. But LUTH being a teaching hospital is okay and there are consultants willing to attend to you.
But you have to be in schedules (appointment) before visiting. Except on emergency, you must be on Appointment.
There are food canteens, printers, snacks. Mosques, church and other amenities. Electricity is constant and the nurses are hard working.
There are labs there too which is a necessary.
Sites under construction too.
Parking there attracts charges, #100 - #200 per day (i think its too much paying everyday Monday- Sunday) there should atleast be a free day without payment.
Good for IT and health check up
Too many issues with this place, as part of the general story of Nigeria; in summary- trapped in a web ((of disillusionment, lack of vision and motivation, hardly any incentive and no enabling environment to encourage),caught in a vortex. Someday
Can't believe there's no convenience Like a public toilet, and then there's paper as car park pass, and also you have to drive out through the same gate you come in, no freedom to exit via the other gate This is so disheartening for an establishment this big in a great city as Lagos.
I have seen better animal home. Shame on Nigerian politicians and the business juggernauts. They are all looters of the economy and cancer to Nigeria progress. We have nothing to show for over 60 years of Independence vast oil wealth. No care and provision for the welfare of ordinary Nigerians. LUTH is now a national disgrace; in its glory days, the hospital was the centre of excellent of tropical medicine. Now, it is a hospital only in name. The minimum star for feedback is one; in my opinion this medical slum is not worthy of existence let alone one star.
For medical services and training, LUTH is a premier centre in Nigeria. With poor health insurance coverage of the population necessitating out-of-pocket payments by patients, and the compartmentalization of care to multi-specialty departments, accessing services here could be very distressing and cumbersome for the uninitiated and the poor.
However, LUTH remains the preferred destination for guaranteed specialist medical services by board certified experts in Lagos & environs.
It takes time but good
It looks like a great way to get the best thing about this and other things that you can also use it for.
