The hospital is one of the best public health institution in Nigeria, there adequate medical equipment and trained staffs to handle them. The doctors were very professional and friendly, the Nurses also displayed some level of professionalism but patients were too many for the number of staffs which made things look rowdy and unorganised.

This is no doubt one of the best hospitals in Nigeria... they are well equipped, they have very good doctors and the best treatment is given... However, their nurses are the worst and they need to be changed asap.. you would wonder if they even went to school or they know the role of nurses. They are very very rude, not courteous, they would talk to you anyhow that they feel.. No respect what so ever. They would tie up people that have hypertension, as if their blood is not already high enough.. Don't get me wrong, this is one of the best hospitals in Nigeria, if not the best.. they are even better than many private hospitals.. But, THEY NEED TO CHANGED THEIR NURSES... Please if you guys actually read reviews, your nurses don't even know how to spell... right on top of the fact that they are rude. Putting two stars.. one goes to the doctors and the other for the facility itself.

The services here are surprising, when the deteriorated Nigerian health sector is considered. Kudos to the Lagos state Government. Utmost cleanliness is maintained: state of the art facilities and good temperature control.
However, the staff needs close monitoring. Perhaps, CCTV surveillance should be installed in all the wards and departments. Corruption, indiscipline, negligence to duties and rudeness are displayed by most of the staff.
Some of them are benevolent however.

There are five stars in the first star. And the other star is minus five for the staff. The first five stars is loaded for the doctor that attended to me on Thursday, my first time at LASUTH. He was attentive, well mannered and everything. I think his name is Dade. He wrote it on my prescription form.

The staff are ruthless and do not give a care for the patients! I wonder where they got them from.

A nice government owned teaching hospital. The upgrade it got is well deserving. They have capable doctors on ground.

Love their professionalism. Doctors are experienced. A bit of a pain when you want to pay for stuff or buy hospital materials.

Government did a fantastic job with the upgrade and infrastructures but if they had put in that much input in the staff it would be have been a much better place. Good place to go with wonderful doctors but you would have to put up with very long queues and ill mannered staff. Took my dad for a check up today and was there the whole day before seeing a doctor. It was a long wait and the shed had little chairs and the non chalant attitude from some of the staffs only makes the wait unbearable

This is LASUTH. The government has done a good job here by improving the standard of the facility, improvement is however still needed with the staff.

It's a government owned hospital, but one of the best in the country and also well-equipped. However there are long queues and some ill-mannered staff... But I still love the place

Government owned hospital, one of the best in Lagos. The consultant and surgeons are top notch but you'll have to deal with long queue and poor client service from some of the other staff.
