Kwara hotel used to be a great place to lodge in with good facilities however I don't know if it's the time or bad management the general outlook of the hotel isn't what it used to be. While I believe the ambience if you're lodging there is still okay but looking at the edifice from outside, it needs an urgent make over.

This is a very old hotel (more than 40 years old but well maintained. The receptionist are professional and the environment good to relax.

This is a fantastic hotel. Although it is old (since 1975), it still remains the best hotel in town. It has very large Parking space (you can even feel the warmth just from the parking area.
It is strategically located in the Administrative centre of the state. It has good security, very lovely rooms most of which are quite spacious and not as expensive as they seem.
The staff here are very welcoming and courteous, they receive your luggage, wait for you to clear with the very warm receptionists and cashiers and then carry your luggage and lead you to your well prepared room.
It has Five (5) very neat floors powered by an elevator and a roof top that gives you a breathtaking view of about the entire city.
The hotel has a fantastic restaurant, a gym, a lawn tennis court, a swimming pool, and other recreational facilities. It also has conference rooms, laundry service and a lovely bar.
Music is sometimes played at the recreational centre but this is just barely heard in the hotel and thus the serenity is maintained.
It is perhaps the best place to lodge.

Nothing fantastic, seems to be living in the glories of the past. Sincerely hope that the on going renovations will help lift up the current status. The front desk and restaurant staff were very polite and helpful though.

Deteriorating facilities and lowering standards. The used to be a fairly good place but not anymore.

Tried the buffet breakfast and beyond the lack of variety did not enjoy the quality of food

Kwara hotel is one of the best hotel in town. It is the best in term of facilities and services. This hotel has hosted many who is who both in Nigeria and around the world in the past. Although, it is now living on the glory of the past, it is a place that has historical relevance.

Kwara Hotel is located within the Ilorin Metropolitan area. Less than 1km to the State Government House and 500meters away from the State Police Command Headquarter. Security is guaranteed.
Well functional hospitality environment with high quality service to their guest is their objective.
Mostly, there rooms are affordable.

Inspire of it being old it is clean, the staff are very polite and the food is good but I had to buy insecticide because of mosquitoes in the room; the white towels looked dingy and the toiletries tea, coffee and sugar were only supplied on the first day. Also the little electric jug was very dirty inside.
