Good day my friends . I am an indigent of this local area, my grand parents established this place and named it jali ngo two words which the colonialist pronounced it as Jalingo. Jalingo continue to grow at first as the capital of muri province 1880 then later it became the capital of Taraba state of Nigeria 2001.Jalingo is a very nice and quite hospitable town with highest standard of tolerance in Nigeria. jalingo shopping complex was established by the all time best chairman of the local government Alhaji Ali Sani Kona. May Allah guide our people to know the ones that will work for them in future elections.
