This garden it not bad for picnics. You have to, however, bring Everything you need including your mats. You won't be able to rent any around. You could pay to ride a horse in here too. It is by Jabi L'ake and there are boat services there. I doubt that you would like the boats though. The last time I was there, the boat I saw did not look good at all.

Mobility wise, there are not special services to meet the needs of persons with reduced mobility.

You can have a family hang out here. You would not necessarily need a tent, the trees would serve you well. You can bet on enough cool breeze too during your stay here.

Jabi Garden is an open field for picnics, events and relaxation. It is directly opposite the Jabi Shopping Mall that houses Shoprite, Games with the lake separating one from other. There are facilities on ground at the Garden which makes ones visitation fun-filled ranging from horse ride, boat cruising, games and entertaining groups. It's one of the most visited Gardens in Abuja because of the land mass which can accommodate lot of people.

Place is mainly for people who like outdoor physical activities.You want to play football, table tennis , snooker.Place is for you.Mind it its outdoor so you cant be there when sun is up.You are family person there are activities for kids.They can learn skates, bicycles and even if you want you can join aerobics classes .Or just take a stroll along lakeside.Saturday, Sundays and holidays places is usually full of people out for recreational activities.
Please mind, go before sun goes up or in thr evening.

Cool ambience, beautiful view and you can even take a boat ride on the lake.
If you're looking for a nice picnic spot, or a peaceful exercise ground, Jabi lakeside garden is the place to go. And shop rite mall is a stroll away too

Good place for a family hangout, sporting activities for all ages, horse rides. The only issues are (1) there is no toilet hence you may find faeces around. (2) it is not properly lit at night. (3) no designated refuse bin or waste dump

It's an ideal place to hangout for people who appreciate nature's artwork. The trees and waterside view are very relaxing especially for morning workout and evening stroll. It's one of the ideal places for water boat rides, picnics and other gatherings in Abuja.

This is one of the most interesting places I've been to in Nigeria- Horse rides, football pitches, table tennis boards, boat rides, basketball courts, picnic spots, and a whole lot of fun variety services are offered here. I just had to give it a 5 star cos my visit to this place will forever be imprinted in my memory!

I loved the view of the jabi lake the most. There are many fun things to do here like horse riding, riding a boat/canoe, face painting, There's also a football field and volleyball court.

Another example of a wonderful thing left to decay. The lake is beautiful and debris free but the park is strewn with trash and untended grass.
There are motor boat rides available which range in selection from an open air boat to a water bus depending on the size of the party. Other activities include pool, table tennis, and foosball. You might be able to watch dance crew practice and football matches. There are well made stone benches for a rest in the shade.
Across the water is the Jabi Lake Mall. Opposite the garden is a hotel if you plan to spend the night.

A good spot for workout, playing volleyball and other sports. Good place for kids to ride bicycles and skate. Picnicking can also be done here. Management is a bit poor though.
