The traffic is usually heavy from 1600hrs but some days can be sane. It's still a fast route out of lekki most times. One doesn't have to struggle for a lane unlike Lekki-VI toll plaza

Has a circular Electronic billboard with lots of greenery.
It leads to the new Ikoyi - Lekki link bridge, Admiralty road and inner parts of Lekki phase one.
It's highly maintained and extremely neat.
On peak periods there is always traffic gridlock.

Beautiful bridge! The paypoints are too few. This leads to a lot of traffic build up around the entrance and exits.

I always enjoy working out here especially in the evenings. It's a good time for me to not only work out but to have some me time. The bridge is beautiful and if you are a water person the calming effects of the sound of the water is a plus.

About noon when I visited the Diamond Bank by the bridge round about, the traffic flow was free and uncongested. The bridge from 2pm usually crawls and most times simply becomes a nightmare. A bit of traffic ingenuity can still be thought out to help ease the pressure.

Great for when you need to get to Lekki or Ikoyi (depending on where you're starting from) quickly. The toll causes a huge traffic especially in the afternoon from the Lekki axis. So you'll need to be extra smart. It is also twice the cost of the toll on Admiralty highway. Best to be prepared.

The fastest way to link Ikoyi, Obalende, Falomo axis from Lekki. Though it's a jam during closing hours (3.30 - 7.30pm), mornings (7 - 10am) and sometimes at lunch hours. Nonetheless, it's a preferred option.

A good bypass from taking the long route to Lekki Area.. however it's fast becoming the Long Cut as every one seems to be on the route now..! Get your timing right.. or get stuck..!
