A good place to lodge when you visit the warm spring. I believe the administrators can make it more conducive by ensuring uninterrupted power supply.

Great experience of viewing and feeling the hot and cold water running naturally side by side. There is also a swimming pool which keeps it's water warm by channelling and filtering the warm spring to the pool. There is also a bar and a snack shop. Breadfruit can be seen growing naturally near the pool and do visit the monkey who could really do with friends and a larger home. If you believe in the springs having spirital or healing properties then you can also get some bottled. The actual spring could do with proper supervision to monitor visitors who are mostly ok, but the ones who spoil the experience with a lack of etiquette.

Great getaway.
Very natural and serene environment.
Unfortunately, the facility is POORLY maintained as management say the state government stopped releasing funds. Most of the rooms are not habitable. The place powered by electric generator that comes on at 7pm and goes of at 7am.

Natural location but not a tourist's dream.
The staff seem oblivious of their guests,no tour guide and some junior staff around trying to restrict contact with the water because "some people drink it and pray with it".I wonder if this is a tourist location or religious retreat! Why stop people from touching feeling or dipping in the natural pool? Is that not why they came?
The owners seems to have become lost along the way.The resort needs people who are well grounded in the business of hospitality.
Thanks to some senior staff,I eventually had my experience but there is more to do to transform tjis wonderful Garden of Eden!response / report this review -

Great place for a get away. The staff are friendly. Very peaceful and serene environment. A lot of history and sights to see. Electricity is a challenge though. According to the staff they have been off the nation's power grid for about 3 years so they run strictly on generator. Generator is turned on from 7pm to 7am. Big gen if they get a sufficient amount of bookings. Small gen otherwise, which doesn't power airconditioner. They have a unique warm water pool which is fed off directly from the spring. You can literally see the steam some mornings! The restaurant is decent. May not be exactly world class but they try their best. Overall a place I would definitely recommend!

For Nigerian standard in a remote location, this place is good. Facilities are well maintained, great ambience and closeness to nature, great accommodation and catering; food is as homely and local as you can get. Quite surprised it was well maintained. Swimming pool, bar, gift shop etc are all available. Tour guide also available.

Very peaceful! Staff are slow to attend to your needs, but overall a nice, peace resort and getaway from the crazy city. I definitely recommend for couples and those in need from liberation from technology

Ikogosi warm springs is a place to catch fun with your family and you get to meet other tourists.If you love nature,then you need to visit Ikogosi.It is 40-50minutes drive from Akure without traffic

Well preserved natural/ tropical environment.
The swimming pool is warm all weather since it feeds from the warm springs, hence needs no chlorination.
However, the pool facilities are poorly maintained. As at time of writing, the bathroom and showers are out of service and no tap is running despite the abundance of water in the environment.response / report this review -

Ikogosi warm spring is a great tourist attraction for both relaxation,holiday and vacation purposes. The spring view is cool and nice and the warm/cold water meeting point is one of natures endowment to Nigeria. The customer service for the vacation and holiday lodge is amazing too.

There hasn't been electricity at the resort for 2 year. The generator comes up at 7am and goes off at 7pm daily. The pool is always warm and amazing. The water comes directly from the warm spring. The rooms are comfortable and food is okay. The management was very kind to let me use their bus to tour other neighboring states. With this I was away and I didn't need to stay in the hotel without power during the day. I would have given this resort 5 stars if not for the electricity issue. It's surrounded by nature, safe and budget friendly. The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Lagos If you don't you don't mind not having electricity during the day.

Budget resort with a great swimming pool to relax. Staff are quite welcoming and friendly. They have issues with power supply and seem to be off the national grid as such power supply is only available when the gen is turned on. The management needs to come up with more attraction here to make the visit more worth while especially for visitors from out of the state.

Very Quiet. It's 2017 and they don't have power from the grid. Generator comes on in the evening. Overrated unless you combine your trip with a visit to Arinta waterfalls which is what tourists usually do.
