Nice sit out park at the centre of town. It used to attack a trendy crowd for live matches and event but not any more. I think government need to pay good attention to this centre to bring back the lost glory..

Great place to relax after the stress of the day.
Centrally located and easy to access.
However its difficult to find parking space.
Lots of suya sellers and photographers to help you capture memories of your visit.
Not much to do besides the drinking bars.

A historical landmark of Akwa Ibom State. Clean, and crowded with business activities and on spot photography, with host of bar attenders, and cafeterias. A place for gathering and relaxation. It also serves as hub to dealers of assorted phones and electronic gadgets. Well secure with a standby military patrol teams and police. Ibom Plaza is the center of Uyo State Capital.

This place is located at the centre of Uyo. It is easily accessible. People hawk around there. Even the post office is also there. It can be rowdy most times but it's unavoidable.

To be honest I am a bit lost as to why this place is called a PLAZA!!! It's is park, open space, lots of activities With sellers and area boys everywhere. Very disappointed as a tourist in Uyo. When I read on blogs that there is a plaza, my expectation was a well structured environment with lots of high brow shops.

Ibom Plaza is a nice place to have fun and chill. But the area is populated by boys which will need you to be security vigilant. Aside that, it's cool and close to UNIUYO.
