I am a staff at the airport, seen a lot of comments and felt like woah, the airport is the most functioning domestic airport in the south west, operating two airlines, namely overland and arik. Route Ibadan to abuja, abuja to ibadan and Ibadan to ilorin, check out our IG @ibadanairport. Thanks

It's functionally an air strip where private planes coming to Ibadan can land. Don't think of running to this place to catch a flight to anywhere.
One or two local airlines stop by here every other day to drop some passengers, on their way Lagos.
It's in a quiet place in the surburb, off Ife expressway. The place is always quiet. You will even see planes on the ground talkless of some flying over. Anyway, for the records, Ibadan has an airport. And this it.!response / report this review -

The ever cool ibadan also reflect itself in the airport as well. The environment was clean and neat. There was no touts and unnecessary airport and airline staff waiting to usurp every opportunity to scam passengers. My trip was stress free. I received my luggage in less than 5 mins. Checked out of the airport and the taxi operators were calm and cool and there was no dragging or intimidation of anyone. It was a beautiful environment. Every airport should emulate this and inculcate this discipline across board irrespective of population

As little as it was, the renovations done to this place had repositioned it and made it to serve with modesty and passion. However, I believe there is enough land for better improvement to this airport, though will take time to achieve, but it would worth the investment.

Since the Ibadan Airport is an airport serving Ibadan, the capital of the Oyo State of Nigeria, I suggest a 21st Century renovation is needed.
