Not the best of hostel facilities, but it is necessary as it inhabits majority of the female hostel dweller population It's facilities and equipment are old and worn out
The shear unusable nature of their toilet facilities makes the inhabitants deficate in little polythene bags and toss across the hostel walls
It is a great place to be if you desire company, sisterhood, noise and community life..response / report this review -

You can't say enough of the experience in the popular Hall 1, Girls Hostel in UNIBEN. The girls in this Hall pride themselves as Hall 1 queens. A room accommodates between 4-8 persons. Always hot, ridden by bed bugs and mosquitoes. Power supply is fairly constant. Security is top notch, food is very cheap, social life is at it's peak but living conditions are miserable.

Normal Uniben hostel. Its not that conducive, but you got no option if you want to stay inside school. Its also better than hall 2 in terms of space, quietness and cleanliness.

Hall one is a very nice hostel to stay.The hostel is a two story building complex with toilets,bathrooms,and a kitchen on every floor. The hostel rooms are spacious with has three bunks meant for six students and cupboard where food stuff s can be kept.

Queen Idia is one of the oldest hostels in the University of Benin, with about seven (7) blocks. Queen Idia hostel is considered the most clean when compared to other female hostels in the school.

Cool place. A place to meet and associate with new people and make new friends turned family. The neatest female hostel. Not crowded unlike its counterparts.

Well, I've not had a personal experience here, as it is strictly a female Hall of residence. Heard it's "cool" compared to Hall 2. Good environment and of course funny and lively girls. You'd wanna hang around here sometime.

Hall 1 is one of the few hostels in the university of benin.It's a ladies hostel.Quite a number of the female students in uniben reside here.
