  My husband and I traveled to Ilesa from the US to attend a burial and lodged 2 nights at Grove Hill Suites in room B14. The place was fantastic despite the widespread challenges such establishments must face in Nigeria. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and functional. Linen and towels were also clean, minus the musty smell that’s commonly associated in such places. The grounds were well kept, manicured and free of trash and debris. The pool and surrounding areas were exceptionally clean and inviting. The employees were very warm, gracious, professional and accommodating. The manager, Mr. Iwodu, made sure all our needs were met without delay, a very pleasant guy. We were also able to meet the owner whose name escapes me now, but who also very charming and gracious. And if all this weren’t enough, every morning we found our vehicle washed and ready to go. I fell in love with the serene atmosphere of this place and hope to stay there again. Oh! Did I mention the food?!? We had dinner and breakfast while there and all the dishes were savory and well prepared. I highly recommend Grove Hill Suites to anyone in need of lodging in Ilesa.
