On arrival to the hotel, the first thing that catches your attention is the small car park. This car park can only fit four (4) cars provided every driver is skillful. After passing the car park, you approach the automatic door which seems to be not too automatic. It usually slides open but gets tired half way on leaving the door slightly ajar, so you have to almost squeeze through.

Secondly, after getting past the not so automatic door hurdle, you are greeted by the receptionist who from my experience is usually pleasant. The rest of the staff there seem pleasant too. I was shown to the rooms I was to occupy by the steward. These rooms are tightly organized, leaving very small space for leg room. Neither the toilet nor the faucet had any luster as each room has a big bucket and bowl for scooping water. The beddings are not just monotone white in color, but also faded from severe use. The bed itself is slightly bigger than the ones I used during my boarding school days so it would only fit slightly less bulky individuals. I was not sure why but they had maybe like four television channels.

On the plus side, they have an elevator, so guests do not have to transverse the full flight of stairs. Although no WiFi in the facility. The hotel is located in the heart of Trans-amadi and quite easy for you to hail a cab or get around, or any major company/bank of your choice.

I finally could not stay there but I did try to follow the menu and food from the place. The options were not just few but also limited to the food of the day as prepared by the hotel for guest who eat from adjoining training center. The meal quality is also not the best but is edible. In the end my visit there was short, but not memorable.

This hotel is in the same compound as tolmann company which does offshore safety courses. This means that you hear when they are having activities, when the siren rings, etc, and that can be abit annoying. I had lunch here and the lunch was delicious, but they had very little variety. Just eba, semo and jollof rice. I wont be coming back here.

The services have deteriorated with time. No daily replacement of toiletries, kitchen options are limited, no swimming pool and even limited and less interesting TV channels available. It just about rooms to sleep and wake up.
