Green Legacy Resort is owned by the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library. It is a multi room hotel with basic amenities to make your stay memorable. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. The employees are friendly and welcoming. There is live music at the entrance with lots of comfortable sofas to relax in. Has a bar, somewhat secluded from the reception. The most intriguing are the art works, so beautiful.
There is a big bar with it's seat out in the middle of the courtyard, also over seeing the pool area. The restaurant is not far from the rooms and courtyard bar or pool. The lawn and flowers are lovely.
    The resort comes highly recommended.

Really impressed with this location. A nice zoo (lions, monkeys, snakes, hyenas, etc) and cool eat out bamboo place. A bit busy on weekends. Nice place to bring the kids.

Wonderful hotel experience with full boarding access. A very good place for relaxation as a lot of fun things to see and do. They still need to work on the zoo and better welfare for the animals. Fun place for kids as there’s ample activities for kids entertainment. Serene atmosphere of Abeokuta.

It's a city of fun, relaxation, gyration, calm, serene ambience, rocky venture. A total package of nature's wonder plus man's creativity woven together.

There is the children's park. A hotel. School. Creche. Cinema. Boutique. Bar on natural rocks. A cave like bar too. Church. Hall.

One can't take it all in, just with one visit.

    It's alluring. It's beautiful.

The resort is very serene, in that it had a whole lot from amusement parks, to a zoo, to boat rides within the resort, to relaxation centers and lest we forget, A Presidential Library, should you feel the need to enlighten yourself on topics that matter. I had a fun experience and i dare mention it also has a Cinema and Hamlets for your accommodation. need i say more

The hotel seemed to have potential with a presidential library and minizoo on the premises. It was well furnished, but sadly, it is badly run.

I stayed two nights there and my room didn't have a functioning intercom for the duration of my stay. (Thank God I didn't have any emergencies.) The litter of wires, electrical offcuts and parts showed that they'd tried to fix the intercom before checking me into the room. It would have been nice if they cleaned up after their attempted repair, even if they didn't fix the issue.

The room was also overrun with "commando" mosquitoes - so much so that I had to ask the hotel staff to spray it with insecticide later in the night.

I would have endured all that and probably wouldn't have posted this review, if the worst thing I experienced didn't happen. That 'worst thing' was the noise from events holding at the pool side. For two nights consecutively, parties on the premises held at the pool side right under my room on the 3rd floor. I called and begged the hotel staff to change my room or shut down the noise, seeing that their rooms aren't soundproof.

They in turn asked for my understanding, explaning that the noise will 'soon' end. Needless to say, both events started playing bearable music around 1am on each night.

I might still stay there again. I wish I could have said better, but I think an honest feedback will benefit everyone.

A great place to relax. Be it for a business retreat or a family trip. The amusement park and the zoo are also a plus for the children. The rooms are okay, but the food is fantastic. All fresh, all day.

Don't judge with the exterior, the inside speaks more volume. Spacious place for your event. You might be lucky to meet former President Olusegun Obasanjo

Spectacular place. Once you check in here you almost won't need to go elsewhere in search of fun spots. There's a pool, mini football pitch, basketball court (in construction), church, mosque, library, bar, restaurant, club and amusement pack all within the premises.

Didn't enjoy my initial stay when I went in February 2016. Went back there in February 2017 and I can say my second time visit was better than the first. I was allocated a decent room with no plumping issues. Had a nice stay experience overall.

Good resort! Enough activities within to keep you & kids happy. Amusement park, football mini pitch, table tennis etc. Has granite rocks within the lodge for your viewing pleasure.

Had to request cleaning of my room allover again & the air conditioning fixed, obviously room type i picked wasn't regularly used.

    Friendly staff.

Green legacy resort in the heart of Abeokuta holds it's position as one of the Top 5 relaxation spots in the rock city. Very expansive land close to the state secretariat. You have an ample parking space and also a cinema within the premises. You will love this place. One star less because it's situated close to an ever busy road.

Excellent service. Complimentary (Buffet) breakfast, really spacious room. Free Wi-Fi, spa, complimentary steam bath, sauna and meals for honeymooners. Great night life at the bamboo groove. Concierge is available, place to shop African prints and arts, great food. Rock of inspiration giving a great view of the ancient city of Abeokuta. Great place to stay! Looking forward to going back there.
