It was great experience yesterday @ the Palace of the Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II, on the Turbanning Ceremony of Lt-Gen (Rtd). Alhaji Abdulrahman Bello Danbazau. Hon. Minister of Interior of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, As the BARADEN OF KANO.

Lovely hotel with amazing views. Strategically located in commercial center of Kano with tight security and steady power supply. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the Airport.
Hotel offers complimentary breakfast, free WiFi and swimming pool facility with a qualified trainer.
Room are decent however the restroom is a little outdated. I will advice non-indigenous people to eat out as the food might not suit the taste bud.

Old structure revamped. Breakfast was miserly. Used plastic plates to serve. Rooms good and comfortable. Liked the old ambience.

The ambience was beautiful. Very serene, quiet and calm.
The staff were so courteous, helpful and even protective.
The food also was superb

The water keeps going off. The water heater didn't work. The TV remote was bad so we were stuck with a local station. Their Wi-Fi was very crappy and almost non-existent. Bathroom towel was very old. On the good side, the hotel location is central so almost any services you need is a few trek away.

The hotel is very nice and magnificent, there are lots of trees which makes the environment cool despite the harsh weather. The place is very quiet and has a clean environment. I really love it.

Parts of the hotel under renovation so access is not hitch free. Minimal parking spaces. Decent service and staff are helpful and polite.

Meet the refurbished and upgraded Grand Central Hotel. Nice ambience and customer service. Fairly neat rooms, although facility maintenance and room cleanliness could certainly be improved upon; don't be surprised if you experience a mini-cockroach infestation in one or two rooms. Free breakfast.
