Place is clean and close to SCOAN. There is a supermarket in the hotel premises. Light 24h a day. Only thing I missed was a gym.

This place it a lovely place and enjoyable place to be, home sweet home what it should be called, I bet you when you get there and you are been treated by dose people you will never want to live, they are nice and loving, they answer to your needs at all time, the environment is secure,cool and clam,nice meals of all kinds, when I spent my vacation time there I enjoyed it, they are just the best!!!!!!!.

Staff: I stayed here for 12 days so I have so much to say. This hotel became home for me at the beginning of the year. The staff, from the taxi driver who picks you up at the airport, to the security guards and every single member of staff is ALWAYS happy to see you. Genuine African hospitality! If you are afraid to travel to Nigeria on your own, don't be. The hotel taxi driver will be waiting just outside the airport doors, immediately outside on the curb with a sign with your name on it. It you cannot see it, you can purchase a sim card inside the lobby and call the hotel or ask someone to call but your driver will not leave without you.Keep the hotel number on you always.
Currency:
They will help you to change currency at a great rate without you ever feeling unsafe and they can take you anywhere you need to be taken around Lagos. The best rate is given for $100 and $50 bills. $20 bills will be changed at a much lower rate, and $10 bills at an even lower rate. Much less $5 and $1 bills.
Location:
The hotel is a 5 minute stroll to the Synagogue Christ for All Nations. If you want to get a seat inside the main auditorium you may need to get going at about 3:30am. No worries, the hotel will always have other guests heading that way and local transport or a taxi is always there if you don't want to walk. Otherwise you go later and enjoy the services from the overflow seating in the canopies or stay in your room and watch it online. By why would you go all the way there and stay in your room now? :-)
Food:
The hotel restaurant has a really good extensive menu. You will find western style and native style dishes and room service is also available. Please drink ONLY bottled water. You can't take food into the church but there is a canteen there
Housekeeping:
The hotel is safe. The housekeeping crew will knock and let you know that they have come to clean your room. If you are jet lagged, they will let you sleep and you can always let them know when you get up. Where else do you get that kind of service!? Seriously, this isn't a 5 star hotel but you wouldn't know. If you are not happy with something in your room, they won't rest until they address. Please let them know so that they can give you a great experience. There is no reason to bring your best jewelry but if you do decide to, it will be safe in the hotel.
Energy:
Electrical power (NEPA) is supplied by due to load shedding there will be times when the hotel will have to run on solar energy instead (VATA). In this instance you will not be able to use the Air Conditioning unit in your room but you will have a fan. If NEPA is unavailable for a very long period or at night they will turn on the generator and one can resume using the AC unit. They never let it get too uncomfortable as they juggle the costs of operating these sources of energy though.
Wi-Fi:
You will get Wi-Fi access codes for free from the front desk upon request. They are good for 500MB or two days and you can always request more.
Finally:
This is not an area know for malaria mosquitoes but in case you will travel further around, just take your course of prophylactics before you come. You may get an occasional mosquito slip into your room if you leave your door open for way too long. Otherwise this is a bug free environment so to keep it like that, ask the front desk to help you dispose of any food containers that you bring in so that you don't entice any.

I have written an extensive review because this hotel deserves it and because heading out to Nigeria without anyone I know there was the biggest adventure I have ever undertaken but it turned out to be no big deal. I want you to know that and be safe when you go. If you want to visit SCOAN and haven't yet received a letter of invitation don't let that stop you. Get your visa, get your ticket and get a room at this hotel. I really hope that more people will make that trip and get the results that they yearn for.

I went to Lagos, Nigeria, for my first time to visit Synagogue, the Church of All Nations, and I stayed in this hotel for three days. To be frank, I did not expect such kind of hotel on that area. The people are so amazing and totally friendly. The hotel (the compound, the bedroom, restaurant.) is clean. They got great air conditioners in all places. Security camera is everywhere, except your room. No key for door, but security card! So great! They also have nice shuttle service. It is totally recommended!
