My favorite fruit and vegetable market in Lagos.

Yes you have to pay to access the inner car park where most of the sellers are if you can't find parking outside but it's well worth the N200.

I like the size and the variety of things on offer. Fresh herbs, colorful produce and knowledgeable sellers.

The boat rides were real fun as I got to seat on the deck for the ride to Takwa Bay. Salt water splashing on my face, the up and down motion of the waves and the lovely breeze. The only reason for 4/5 star is that the boats took a while to load up on the return trip to the marina

N4,000 for ferry to Tarkwa Bay which was fine but the actual wait for the ferry is ridiculous because staff were waiting for more passengersIt is best to get to Tarkwa Bay early as to enjoy a full day. Ferry is supposed to leave every hour or more frequently throughout the day but does not. Last ferry usually leaves Tarka Bway by 6pm.

OMG! What kind of business owner does not know that customer service is the key to success? This is what we get for lack of competition in Nigeria. Called the number on Facebook to ask about a charter option.. Gosh! i could just imagine his body language.; like i was repulsing him with my questions.
I see so many comments about the same rude experience and he hasn't even bothered to provide responses.
Who does that?
Anyway I don't know of other options yet but I will definitely post them here once i find out so people can have options.

Customer service is bad. The attendant wouldn’t let me in so I had to sit in the car while I waited for the person who invited me. We were also told that boats would be leaving Tarkwa Bay every hour but in fact we had so wait till there were enough passengers

Guys, AVOID this place. Customer service is hell!! On the phone and in person, the owner is rude. There is a sign that says no cameras allowed on premises. OK. But we sat at the wooden shed and decided to have some snacks while waiting for our boat. The owner comes out and orders us to leave immediately. What? We tried explaining and apologising. He didn't care. Asks a policeman to escort us out. Ok. Lets stay in the shed and get Uber. Leave immediately! His staff says that's how he is. If you wanna patronise Fiki, do not eat there, ask for every rule and be ready to be embarrassed. Find alternatives.

In my entire life as an adult, I have never experienced a more disgraceful and unprofessional customer service. During the wait to board the boat, I was eating with my family on one of the benches. There were no signs indicating that outside food/drinks are prohibited, so we did not feel that we were breaking any rule. However, the owner came and angrily ordered us to leave. He physically harassed us and then seized my eye glasses despite everyone asking him not to do so. We asked for a refund and then left after he reluctantly returned my glasses. If you are a person of principle, DO NOT do business with this man; you'll regret it. There are other public boat services that go to Tarkwa bay (for example, Marine boat services near lagos oriental hotel is a better alternative).

Catch your boat to tarkwa beach here. There is no landing stage in tarkwa so passengers have to get into the water waist deep or be carried to the shore. A jetty is being built but isnt completed yet. The catamaran with windscreen can be very hot under the glass.

A great ambience with waterside drinks bar.

Mainly operates as a jetty with boat rides to Takwa bay beach daily. Trip ticket is pocket friendly and serves for a round trip.
ADULT: N3000
Children: N2000.

Boat charter cost about N100k for 30 people capacity. There are small boats for charter too.

The last return trip from the beach back to the jetty is by 6pm.

Very unprofessional customer service. Visiting Lagos and called for more info about their boating services. The guy was very rude on the phone and didn't want to assist with pricing/boating tour information,etc. and told me to figure out where I would like to go and hung the phone on my ear. Definitely will not be supporting this company. Horrible.
