This lodge was exclusively female hostel but was converted to blocks of flats for the working class while another building, purely for students (unisexual) residence was constructed and added to the compound. It is a collage or village of working class, students and ancillary services such as provision stores, eateries and all that. It has a semblance of night life because of the contiguous hostels, bistro, filling stations where residents can hang out till d vigilante approved curfew of 10pm.
