  The market is one of the oldest and largest rural market serving the Ikeduru, Owerri and part of Isiala Mbano and its environs. Situated along the major road at Owerri Okigwe road. It is about 18 miles to Owerri, the Imo state capital and about 30 miles to Okigwe. People from many places come to buy and sell during the Weekly market days. Besides the weekly market days, the market holds on daily basis, which you can buy food stuffs and other minor items. Recently, the market had been in a bit disarrayed due to the Rochas administration want to renovate the entire market. As of the date of this review, it has not been easy for buyers and sellers, even motorists to go through. Everything has been so bad especially in this raining period. If the market is put in order, I think it would be very fantastic.

  It's a local daily market that holds a mega weekly session every 8th day, you can buy virtually anything except heavy machinery in the weekly sessions.
