This is the largest power generation plant in Nigeria and probably West Africa. I've been here on several occasions, even worked in a neighbouring power plant for about 2 years, believe me it's the best experience ever. Constructed on the Lagos lagoon by the Ibrahim Babangida military administration in the late 1980s. Situated in Egbin, Lagos, Nigeria. It operates with 6 steam turbines, each generating approximately 250 MW
