I understand; innovation drives entrepreneurship and professionalism brings quality to bare. What breeds longevity in entrepreneurship is competition but what keeps your customers coming is quality at cheap price/low price. The thought of going to Allen Avenue to pick up a pant and jacket is not some people's style, they would rather patronize the next street's tailor. While preparing for my wedding I browsed a few shops on Allen and i barely escaped their cutthroat prices. Luckily for me I didn't get my preference. My tour began from Alade market into some gigantic shops. These shops have good receptionists, young sexy girls trying to convince one to a purchase; "bros this one is Italian, that one is London" all I want is a suit that fits me I don't care if it is made in Aba. Now that's were Bobo's Clothing comes in, I'm not about to tell you I picked a suit there or this is the price they sell. Bobo's understand the Lagos trend-a friend tells a fellow I picked up a suit in one of those shops at Allen, then the fellow would like "wow, levels don change o" your head would swell. Off-course the fellow would not police me about the label or whether it is made in Italy or Kafanchan. While Bobo's specializes in suit the everyday Lagos metrosexual is not his customer. Bobo has carved a niche for himself and I want to believe there is no going back. Long live Bobo.
