My son almost die, just because of this cashless policy that Aminu Kano teaching hospital, Kano State adopted. How can they adopt this kind of policy in such environment like Kano while neighbouring states and villages comes to this hospital. Where so many poor and average people have access to such hospital AKTH. These kinds of cashless policy are good initiative but they have to gradual due process, not instance.

Why? Some kind of people were opportune to get into power in many organisations, they only think of themselves, thinking that everybody is rich, educated and wise, which is not. Bringing such policies in such environment is not proper. Based on my own perspective they have to consider so many factors before adopting it. Such as the environment itself, Network, people and also the banking sector is not working properly.

AKTH is one of the best Hospital in Kano State but now have turn to worst hospital, people fighting shouting in a queue at the cashier office just to pay consultantion fees, laboratory fees, Medicine fee and so on. Queuing for more 4 hours and lucky you the cashier would say to all of you that NO NETWORK. Please what can we do, after being more than 4 hours in queue and at last no Network. Don't forget this language of no Network is normal to hear at our banking sector, ATM queue and so on. Our banking sector too has issues no proper Network and people in power adopt polices that would not favor there people.

One funny thing the cashier bring POS agent to collect your cash saying they that They are helping, yes they do help, but we not dumped some of us are wise, the POS agent collect charges.

Please and Please this cashless policy has to be reviewed or make it options. Many of us don't have enough money to go to their private hospital, but we have smartphone to tell the world.

Aminu Kano Teaching hospital is a federal government owned medical institution. It is the biggest and one of the best and most equipped medical facility in the North western region. It has a large land mass and also has banks, restaurants, laboratories, adequate parking space, wheel chair accessible places and reliable security. It has two access gates leading in and out of the premises. It has facilities for conducting Covid19 tests.
