This was the old Alade market on Allen Avenue, Ikeja. The market has been demolished and relocated to a few metres away from the original location to allow for upgrade and modernisation. The new location is currently under construction by the government of Lagos State and is nearing completion.

The operators/management was not prompt.
An hall booked for 2pm didn't get opened until well after 2pm, especially not giving any room for setting up and preparation for the program.
Though the hall itself was good with a proper dinning area with a kitchen sink, freezer and fridge. The rest rooms were also in good conditions.response / report this review -

Urban area, great shopping complex. Upscale location. Prices are a bit on the high side. But is a one stop market for clothings and food. A well mapped out market.

Alade market has a blend of local and contemporary stores, where you can purchase products from local food stuffs to imported foreign products. Stalls are laid out in an orderly manner for ease of movement. Prices are fair and products are good.
The only thing you’ll look out for is accessibility, because it is located in a very busy part of Ikeja. Nevertheless the experience is worth it.response / report this review -

Well laid out and compact market. There is enough walk space in between the stalls, the market has enough parking space every for overflow. Items mainly sold are adults and kids cloths and shoes, lingerie, jewelry and few store sell household items.

It use to be a good place for shopping wine and toiletry but the building is no longer there only money exchange business Notting is happening there.
