Small Airport, Quite improved after the refurbishment. The Ticketing area is enlarged and accommodates many airline desk. The waiting lounge now has a working TV, thogh the tv size is small and placement is awkward.
The airport now has variety shops and food court. Some parts of the waiting looks tacky the paint work looks unfinished. But it's quite improved from my last visit several years ago.response / report this review -

Its a good airport At least here, the facilities work It has a good sitting area for checked in passengers as well as very neat restrooms and a few eateries. The runway here is large and can accommodate large planes.
The parking area is large but the toll system at the entrance to the airport needs some improvements.
*It has a 1.9 mile or 3km runway which makes landing of local flights very comfortable.
*You will also get to love the organization of those stroller rental guys.
*Its a great airport with Airpeace as the most reliable flight to this route
*A great renovation work has been done but A lot more still needs to be done to improve it's standard.response / report this review -

This airport falls among the average airports in Nigeria. Every basic thing is available. Although the metal detector door at the entrance is pretty ridiculous.
As at this time only Arik and Airpeace flies here and Ethiopian Airways flies international.

Enugu Airport is a small but functional airport. It gets 4 stars mainly because of its proximity and painless accessibility from the city center.
A new terminal building is almost ready for commissioning and I'm sure by the time it's commissioned Enugu Airport will be one of the stand out airports in Nigeria.
Your probability of missing a flight out of here is also very slim as the airport enjoys good road connectivity to the rest of the city.response / report this review -

This Airport was recently renovated by the then minister of aviation during the last administration era. The quality of service at the hotel is very poor. The restroom in very bad shape and not well maintained. The luggage screening section is a big apology. The personnel are more interested in extortion than doing their screening work. Government should do something about this.
Good thing to note is that Airpeace airline made it on time and departed at the scheduled time. Their baggage checking in counter is another extortion point.response / report this review -

Is Akanu lbiam lnternational airport an African airport or international airport???, if meant for Ethiopia and Enugu of Eastern Nigeria, why the so called international.

The Airport after the upgrade to an international one is considered one of the best five international Airport in the country. One can now fly from Enugu to Adis Ababa Ethiopia through Ethiopian Airways
