With the construction going on the airport road, commuting in and out of here is abysmal. The housing is pretty decent, got a mixture of low to high income housing

Road leading to this area is heavily under reconstruction but wonderfully managed to disallow traffic bottle necks. Kudos to the government and the company involved.

Want to explore the immediate residential area to your right from Muritala Mohamed Airport. Ajao Estate is just after Muritala Mohammed Airport, a residential area that became notorious for some reasons in the past is fast becoming a preferred location for many. A beautiful area/Estate housing many hotels and some industries, a stone throw from the popular Oshodi in Lagos, is one known area in Lagos.
My experience of Ajao Estate is beautiful, yet to experience is at night though.response / report this review -

This is estate is right before Murtala Mohammed airport Ikeja. It's about the only estate within this environs. It's a home for many travellers who book hotels and guest houses within the estate for their short time business trips. The estate is very close to Mafoluku, a popular area within this environs. The estate has lots of other commercial activities like supermarket, groceries stores, bars, cyber cafe, etc It is also reputed with 'Eze Ego' meaning king of money. Who was believed to have been very rich while alive and built the most sophisticated in architecture house in his time.

Cool place to live but not suitable for night outings. Close to the airport for frequent travellers. Roads need to be worked on though. Decent environment too but still needs a lot of work. Very quiet place to reside without conflicts with neighbours or anybody.
