ATBU is named After the 1st Prime Minister of Nigeria, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, sometimes referred to as the Golden Voice of West Africa. ATBU has campuses in Yelwa, Gubi and Tafawa balewa. It is a university of Technology.
It is located in the serene North Eastern City of Bauchi.
I had an enjoyable experience touring the campus. I would give it a 4 star rating.

ATBU is a 3rd generation Federal University of Technology situated in the heart of Bauchi city. It was named after Nigerias first prime minister. The quality of education is astounding

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) is a federal university of technology located in Bauchi, north east Nigeria. The university is named after the first Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa. The motto of the university is "Doctrina Mater Artium", which means "Education is the mother of the practical arts". It has 7 faculties which include Faculty of Agriculture & Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Engineering & Engineering Technology, Faculty of Environmental Technology, Faculty of Management Technology, Faculty of Technology Education, Faculty of Science and college of Medicine.
