Here, I discovered that because you're in the absolutely middle of nowhere, the chocolate ice cream is the best I've ever had anywhere in the world. There's no logical reason for it, because the rest of Niger conforms to type - hot, dusty, poor, slightly chaotic - but there you go.

The rest of the meal was fantastic too (I had the filet Gorgonzola with moringa as a side dish). Warmly recommended.

Before you enter the restaurant and you already know you're in for a treat. The food is excellently cooked even if on the fatty side a little bit. You can choose from four seating areas; the garden, the terrace, the indoor area, or the basement area which is my favorite since it's so secluded and designed in a marvelous manner.
The menu might seem confusing since there's no photos, but anyhow, anyone should try the raw fish dish, the avocado with shrimps, the pizzas, and most all pastas. It is an Italian restaurant after all.
