It was love a first sight when Wietsa was introduced to Rhythmic Gymnastics in 1996.
With a strong dance background in Ballet and Modern dancing, Wietsa Snyman(owner) opened the very first Rhythmic Gymnastic Club in Windhoek under the SKW. She decided to go solo and opened Windhoek Rhythmic Club in 2010.
With an estimate of 140 kids and 4 coaches the club has gone from strength to strength.

In this sport girls can start from a mere age of 4 years old. Gymnast are thought by trained coaches, dance routines performed on music with different apparatus such as rope, hoop, clubs, ball and ribbon and a dance compilation without apparatus.

All routines are choreographed with music. Novice levels are Level 1–3, Intermediate 4–7, while Levels 8 and up are High performance levels.

Rhythmic Gymnastics is a beautiful and elegant sport. Teaching girls hand and eye coordination, discipline, flexibility, dance movements on music, proper body posture and confidence. How to perform in a group as well as individually. This i a wonderful platform for girls to interact with others socially and competitively.
