  For a small airport it is extremely well equipped. Pleasantly surprised by two-ply toilet paper in bathrooms - which were very clean. Mugg&Bean staff were friendly and the food was great. Well done Walvis Bay!

  They pulled me into a room with a couple of officers and wanted to search my bags so I was like ok go ahead. They tossed everything and asked were the tv was. I was like what tv, I don't have anything like that. Turns out they were looking for my Fluxe meter and it was shoved down in my work boots. They never found it and no I wasn't trying to hide it either. Lol

  Airport is done beautifully. My main qualm was waiting 2 and a half hours to get into the country and then waiting 4 hours to get out they said it's a new system implemented but never have I ever experienced such inefficiency before just to stamp my passport. In a group of 300 people, all of us were tired and some of us missed important meetings because of these delays.

  It is a small airport that is currently being renovated. Facilities are basic including a restaurant/Kiosk, Toilets and Car rental. Don't expect too much but like I say it is still under construction.

  Their are busy with renovations at our airport, and it will look amazing after it will be completed.
