On Monday evening I went to Stellenbosch Wine Bar and Bistro for the first time in a long time and as usual my expectations were exceeded. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect as well. A must for anyone living in Windhoek looking for a quality meal.

Great place and setting as the foos is brilliant and service even better. Their steaks are amazing. They have a great wine selection. One a summers evening outside in the Tuscan style courtyard you will have a splendid evening.

Try their Rib Eye steak. Good choice
Michael and his team will leave no stone unturned to ensure a memorable visit.

Great food, really efficient and friendly service.

The issue was when Michael walked in, he must of been a manager with shares or some thing. One could see the moral with the staff drop as he walked in. Then he proceeded to give the shift manger a hard time two chairs from me. But he was more than happy taking private phone calls in a separate room.

No manager should bring a colleague to tears at the beginning of shift never mind in public.

This seriously ruined the experience for me. I really feel for the staff here and hope the issue with Michael gets sorted out otherwise a great place is going to loose awesome staff.

Great atmosphere and service is excellent. They have a good verity of food. My personal favorites is the Rib eye steak. Great flavor and good marble. Good wine selection and wine is not that pricey for the quality.

Excellent grilled steak choices that is very tasty with nice proportionate sizes 250 gram and 350 gram. Price is moderate but very reasonable for a popular downtown location in Windhoek. Setting is nice with indoor and outdoor seating that has brisk business and friendly servers.

Cannot recommend it enough. A great set up and a great vibe. Many different offerings, top class food and an excellent wine selection. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Expect to pay for this, but well worth every single.
Good for groups, but also for an intimate, romantic dinner.

Amazing food. Fantastic service. Always busy, so better book a table in advance. But it is one of the best restaurants for sure.
